It is nearly here. Major League Baseball 2021 season will start on Thursday, April 1, 2021, with all 30 teams playing the opening game on the same day for the first time since 1968. The fourth version of the Little League Classic will face the Indians against the Yankees at Historic Bowman Field in Williamsport, PA, home of the Little League World Series.
Sept. 11: Mets vs. Yankees
The New York rivals will play Sept. 10-12 at Citi Field in Queens. This will be a part of the commemoration of the 20th anniversary of the 2011 terrorist attacks. The game on Saturday, Sept. 11, will be a night game.
