LA Clippers vs Los Angeles Lakers on Thursday, July 30 (9:00 p.m. ET, TNT)
The LA Lakers appear to be set to enter the playoffs as the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference. While home-court advantage is no longer a factor because of the neutral playing ground, the Lakers have the benefit of their actual first position in the competition. The Lakers (49-14) overtake the Clippers (44-20) by 5.5 games but LA Clippers will resume the regular season at a good time. The second-ranked in the Western Conference won two of their three games against their great rivals LA Lakers, so Doc Rivers’ team has every reason to be confident that they can remain strong candidates for the championship.
Odds: LA Clippers 50,25% – LA Lakers 52,38%
Boston Celtics vs Milwaukee Bucks on Friday, July 31 (6:30 p.m. ET, ESPN)
The Celtics, with 43-21, will start their eight seeding games in third place in the Eastern Conference behind Milwaukee and Toronto. According to most online sportsbooks, they find themselves underdogs in this first game back with the leaders. This match benefits the team giving them a chance to shake off the rust and the opportunity to push for second place.
Milwaukee Bucks currently sit at the top of the Eastern Conference and even the whole league, with a record of 53-12 this season. They are one of the great candidates for the title. Prior lockdown Milwaukee had an unquestionable performance and are looking to come back strong and with the confidence of leading the ranking.
Odds: Boston Celtics 35,09% – Milwaukee Bucks 67,57%
